The world of Monkey Life was born during a family car ride from USA to Canada.
The parents and kids imagined how fun it would be to play a game that featured Monkeys and Wild Animals living in the jungle.
The game is simple enough that young kids could easily pick up. Yet, it has many strategy elements that makes it competitive for adults. The card deck is also very extensive, with great replay value, which guarantees that no two games will ever play the same.

OVERVIEW
Monkey Life is a fun friendly game made for families, kids and groups ages 7 and up. Experience time in the jungle as a monkey, encountering predators, who will try and steal your bananas, and poachers, who will try and trap you. They are both trying to prevent you from reaching your goal to get 12 Monkey Points. Be the first Monkey to climb the tree of life, and become King of the jungle!
Content Highlights:
As opposed to your traditional square cards, the game uses an original round shape.
The cards are water repellent, made of top of the line plastic with a transparent effect on the round edges.
Both the Monkey Pawns and Scoreboard are magnetic, ensuring a stable platform when playing.
The design of the box is small enough, so you can take it with you when you travel.
Educational:
The game will enable children to practice their math skills and challenge them as they calculate the points using both whole number and 1/2 (half) points.

In 2022, on a kayak trip in Costa Rica, from Samara to Chora Island, the local guide (whose family owns and runs a coffee plantation near Samara) shared the background about Chora Island. He said that not much lives there other than hermit crabs and iguanas, but there were times when he had seen a monkey and that it is believed they swim to Chora Island from Samara beach.
Everyone was surprised to hear that monkeys are good swimmers.
No sooner had he spoken about this than another kayak guide signaled that there was a monkey in the ocean off the shore of the island. Everyone stopped their snorkeling and exploring to watch this monkey swim the remaining distance to shore.
The monkey moved arms and legs and came up for breath intermittently. Soon the monkey came close enough to start walking onto the beach and towards all of the big trees on the island, where I am sure the monkey would climb and swing from branch to branch.
The locals said this was the first time they had actually seen a monkey swimming to Chora Island.

FAQ
If two players play the same Predator card (ex. both play the Bat card) in the same round, the player that played that card first wins. Only a Predator card with a higher number would win.

I never played a game like this before. It’s got so much variety it’s never the same when I replay it. It brings families together and gets the kids off of videos. The board folds up and the monkeys stick to it by magnet. This makes it easy to transport. The best part is it’s colorful and fun!

The children liked the cards, round and plastic, totally different from the other games. The drawings are very beautiful and fun.
